I'm checking prices of some watches on PT site (http://www.puretime.co). As I read it's trusted seller, but I don't understand this high prices. For example:

http://www.puretime.co/product/planet-ocean-45mm-lite/

I get this watch for 30$.

Or http://www.puretime.co/product/special-screw-driver-for-hublot-big-bang/ . I get professional screw driver from local watchmaker for 15€ (swiss made quality AAA+).

Even some other watches are overpriced. It's cleared to me that quality replica's with ETA movements...are maybe high priced but not these cheap watches as they are same as on PriceAngels for 30-60 $

So what's going on ?

Can you show the watches which you purchased? Are you certain they are the same as the ones shown on PT, or another dealer site? I highly doubt the prices on the ETA watches are overpriced by much.

Gotta love those AAAA+++ ratings. My fridge is rated A. My tv is rated BBC and ITV+. My PC is AMD 1600+. None are Swiss though. ;)

Lol. Indeed. AAA+++ rating given by whom in the first place I wonder?

I believe that in the rep world, you're lucky to get what you pay for. To find a bargain like the OP described is like discovering we've all been cheated out of serious monies all along. I would very much like to know what goes into that 20euro "ETA" watch.

the same standard and poor's that' s screwing up everything I guess

I never believe any rating applied to replica products. The ratings are applied to the products by the manufacturers themselves, and only fools would take them seriously.

There are no consistent and measurable differences of standards between a "Swiss AAA+++" and a "Swiss AAA++++" What is an AAA+++ to one manufacturer may be a B- to another manufacturer, and an F to the buyer.

If the manufacturer truly believes their watches to be "Swiss AAA+++" standards, then why sell them at 20Euros? According to the same argument, should a product deemed a chinese replica standard be 2Euros? Or given away for free? In the world of rep shopping, the term "Caveat Emptor" applies very strongly for me. TDs or not, I have purchased crap before when I first started out, and it took me some expensive lessons to learn the reality of the industry. You pay cheap, you get cheap. Sometimes you pay expensive, you still get cheap, and worse still, sometimes not at all. There are risks we must all take when we decide to buy a rep. Sometimes the problems are solvable, sometimes not. Just need to keep our eyes open, and yes, ignore those ratings. :D
