Pugwash
but romors are that you can hook your psp up to the PS3 and use it with the PS3 somehow! Vague much? and rumors are also that there will be a connector for TV out very soon, then you'd be able to hook your psp up to the tv and play! There are rumours that one day it'll play standard h264 MPEG4 files or even, shock horror, DivX files. Neither of these are very likely, either. Why am I so doubting? I've got my PSP in my hand and I can't for the life of me see an output socket with enough bandwidth for video. No, USB cannot do it. No, neither can the audio port. No, 802.11b WiFi can't either. I'm going to have to call [censored] on this one. snif snif. Smells like ... [censored].

If you want h264 (and you do), you need 2.0+ Congrats on the purchase. If you have a GF, don't let her play Lumines. /me looks onto the balcony and sees Mrs Pugwash playing her PSP ... amptor
Bought one Whos downgraded to use homebrew etc? Im not sure what version mine is. Its brand new but it asked if i wantd to upgrade to 2.0, i didnt! Anyone? You're lucky if it is below a 2.0. Any firmware 2.0 and below can be downgraded (or you already have it) Ok so if you have a 1.51 or 1.52, you have to upgrade to 2.0 (not 2.01, 2.5, 2.6 etc) and then you can downgrade to 1.50. But be careful where you get the update from, a lot of places might have 2.5 firmware hidden in a package claiming to be a downgrader. I still have the 1.50 downgrade kit on my G:\ drive at home just in case I'd need it. I downgraded 2 systems with it. Btw, I heard Norton virus scanners will nab and quarantine or delete your downgrader kit if they see it. But if you have 1.50 you're all set for homebrew. And for ISO emulation you'll still usually need to have a UMD in your drive to run one. I don't think emulators and other homebrew require that. Check out www.maxconsole.net PSP forum for more info. stenofsweden
There is a really nice package of 35 games (everything from SSX, World Tour Poker to NFL and Ridge Racer) Great games and "free" if u have a fast connection... You will find it at: www.thepiratebay.org (topp100 - games - handheld) I prefer uTorrent www.utorrent.com as the client downloader God Luck!
