Cromag
Hey guys! I just got this PAM168 and I really like it. Problem is that it has a lot of scratches on the bracelet. The gen is titanium and stainless steel but I think this one is a combination of brushed and polished pieces. Even though the links can be taken apart, I'm not too concerned with the brushed part of the link. I just want to refurbish the shiny polished part of the links and the bezel too. Is there a method you guys recommend that can actually restore it to like-new condition? Thanks for looking! Cheers

Cromag
Wow! That link is great and I'm happy to see it can be done. Thanks! Wish I had a dremel tool. I just googled Cape Cod Polishing Cloth and found it may do the trick. I'm heading down to the hardware store top get one. $4.00 Thanks! I'll let you know how it goes
Cromag
Ok! Two hours of rubbing and it's now way better. Not perfect, but at least it's wearable now I also doused it with a bunch of WD-40 and let that soak in for a while. It's butter smooth now. I may take another run at it to really bring it up to a 10! Thanks for the tips guys!
PeteM
Nice job mate Maybe later you will consider breaking the strap down completely and doing the brushed bases with the polished CG links I think that would suit the watch better IMHO GioArmani did a great tute on doing a brushed finish
By-Tor
Cool. PS: That Regatta is the only PAM I could ever consider wearing. Nice.
Cromag
Thanks mates! This model is definately my style. I like it and I'm thinking of getting a 050 and 051. I think I finally found a watch for wifey! Other than a gen JLC Reverso with subdial that I want to find her for Xmas. She wore a pinstripe suit to work today so she took my strapped Mark XVII and left the blingy Regatta for me It's hard to really capture the iridescence of the subdials in the photos
