By-Tor
Just to say this: I have my regular "beater", Omega SMP franken on my wrist again, right now. With the A7750 movement, unserviced and it runs in COSC standards. I've had this since 2006. I've owned plenty of A7750-powered watches and never experienced a SINGLE problem with them. People often talk about gen ETAs and how well they run. Well how about A7750? Great, reliable movement. No wonder Chinese are pushing Europe and USA back to stoneage. Just sayin'... cougar1
Great watch, looks fantastic. I've never had a problem with a7750 either. Sometimes they take a while to 'boot up' the movement but I have a couple going since 2007 unserviced and still perfect, (within 10 secs pd). T222
I have a new Panerai Ferrari with asian 7750 movement (21600bph), that likes to do high revs. ;-) My watch gains a lot of time when I wear it, but when it sits still (over night) it keeps perfect time. The more it's winded, the faster it goes. :-/ I toke it to a watchsmith here, and he told me that it was a "clutch thing" that was bad. Now my watch is going back to Silix for a replacement movement. :-) This is the only 21600bph 7750 movement I have, so I don't know if this is a commen problem? Cheers, Steffen. By-Tor
Yeah, the old low beat movement was very unreliable. I'm talking about the new 28.800bph version. I should have specified that.
