Watchmeister Posted December 8, 2012 Report Share Posted December 8, 2012 It is a 217 CG. The question is why. Replacement mistake when sent for servicing, jury rigged franken? What you know is the 217 came several years after the 127 so it wasn't a mistake at original assembly. This happened years after. That crown guard didn't exist when the watch was originally sold. I know of several others that have done the same thing. They were used to the facing-up lever tip of the 44mm Luminors and wanted the same for their Fiddy.
