The gen one my friend has, has got mother of Pearl dial and diamond bez but could still do some side by side pics. Just let u all know I'm no photographer or watch expert!! Don't sweat the small stuff. It's a great watch and if you can't find more obvious flaws than the date wheel that should be good enough to wear it with much joy.
