kain is good too, yes. Between the two (and I've only two to compare, I like the Heroic18 better - but Kain does exotic leathers well.

Ammo strap 243 looks amazing on ammo wearing mine on a Kevin ammo right now but it is a versatile watch that works with most any vintage or ammo style leather but also croc straps Preferably a strap with a long tail and nice buckle for this watch to match its character

You are right. 243 can take all straps. Very versatile.

Totally agree with the Subs...but one that always stood out to me on the 243 was the Cognac....

 

It shouldnt work as well as it does..and is still my favourite on a Sub

 

Mario does a PreV style in Italian leather for around 50 which looks great on it Box stitch, five stitch end box...with indent edge and patternated leather finish
