Squal17 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 I got pictures of a 42 PO>>>anyway I think that the Omega logo is slightly crooked and it's too close to the word OMEGA..Is it the angle? What do you think..any other prolems you see? thanks
Omegamma Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 The logo seems to be misalligned and the pearl looks not perfectly centered to me.
Squal17 Posted February 20, 2013 Author Report Posted February 20, 2013 This is actually the 2nd watch I requested...the first one seemed like the same thing...It's like I got 2 sets of pictures of the same watch with the logo too close...but I really am not sure so that's why I am asking for help...here is the 1st one
DeeCee Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Looks good to me. 2nd one looks better. Pearl looks real dark on the first one.
vandal.tbh Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Omega logo is way too close. I think this might be a case of you didn't like the first one, so the dealer took new pictures of the same watch and tried again. If I were you I would ask him to find a watch that has a nicely placed logo and try again. Don't settle.
vandal.tbh Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 On second look, the pearl is different between the two watches. I'd ask him to find a better one anyway.
Squal17 Posted February 21, 2013 Author Report Posted February 21, 2013 I knew it was too close...you guys have been great...stay tuned for updates on my next purchase
bamcky2k Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 which movement did you go for? as vandal said defo 2 different watches as the pearl is different in the pics...ive seen much better dials on this model so keep asking for a good one until your happy, reason i asked about movement is that the date font looks abit odd...
SSTEEL Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Which TD are sending you these QC photos?
Squal17 Posted February 21, 2013 Author Report Posted February 21, 2013 Its a swiss movement in both...I think it's a bad batch of watches...I have opted for the ceramic bezel version to try and change it up...I will add pics when I get them
bamcky2k Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 good plan, thats not an swiss eta datewheel from what i can see...anyway, the new PO's are looking great-i think you'll be happier!
lofi Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 we're at the last batch of the older po and upo's. its a take whats left situation now. taken over by the newer style ceramic style. imo the seamaster 300 looks better than all of them.
spmi777 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 New style pumpkin says hello :-) very nice how much it cost ??? and where did you buy ?
DMS Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Bought it at Trusty Time, I do not know if it is a trusted delaer on this board, but it is on others. USD 328 for a swiss eta. It is one of the new ceramic versions that came out lately. 1
watchman12345 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 The latest V5s all have close logos. The ceramic is lovely, but the movement is too much for me.
SCM Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 What do you mean by too much for you? What about it don't you like?
icoopernicus Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Pearl is better on the second one, Omega logo is too low on both, Reject!
vandal.tbh Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 New style pumpkin says hello :-) Very nice looking watch!
watchman12345 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 What do you mean by too much for you? What about it don't you like? The movement is completely inaccurate to gen. Complete with spelling mistakes. From the front it's awesome. From the back, not for me.
