1016 Explorer or Space Dweller?

I am already thinking of the next project. I'm thinking of a 1016 case from NDT (especially with Z's group buy!). For the dial, I'm torn between a classic Explorer and the Space Dweller.

LH, please help here! I know you have both. Are NDT's offerings up to par?

Thanks!

Forget the case from Natalie, it doesn't even has lugholes and the shape of the lugs isn't correct either, it looks more like a 16220 case (lugs wrong). You could shape it if you spend a lot of time or money on a modder to do it, but for the price...

You'd better spend the money on a gen 16000 case, which is closer to a 1016.

For the dial: if you really want a Space Dweller, take the ingod dial. Very good printing however it isn't 100% correct. Finding a good Explorer dial can be very difficult, Nathalies are to expensive (sometimes you can find a gen dial for that money), the ebay ones from mahand1 are not too bad, yukis are wrong and MBW dials have not the T<25 text.

If you want a normal Explorer or Space Dweller, well ... you decide.

NDT's 1016 dials are very good.  Based on the photos, they're as good as inGod's.  My only reservation about them has been the price, so if ZK can deliver on his promise... go for it.  I like NDT's Tiffany dial, though that maybe because I've already got slab serifs on two of my Explorers already.

I wasn't sure if you were asking about NDT's 1016 case, but if you are, then I'll echo what 1680 said.  I have not seen a good, aftermarket 1016 case anywhere.  The NDT case looks terrible, and the Yuki 1016 case is no good, either.

1680, LH : thanks. I will forget about that case. I was going to take a detailed look later today but I won't bother. As for the dial, I will continue thinking about it. I love the explorer dial but love the rarity of the Space Dweller.
