highoeyazmuhudee Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 cool! i have a chance to go there in may with a few buddies... still deciding. no shower and your brain turning to water leaves me still undecided
panerai153 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 great video!! Considering that quite a few years ago, much younger, I got slightly altitude sick traveling to the Jungfraujoch Railway station (highest in Europe) in Switzerland., I cannot comprehend base camp at 17500 feet!! Amazing that folks are just walking around there like they were at sea level.
frankt Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Having lived at sea level my whole life, I can recall getting a bit "buzzy" for the first couple of days during a trip to Denver a few years back... I cannot even imagine the situation I'd be in at the altitudes you encounter on an Everest trek!!!! I have never been comfortable in "high" places...In fact I sometimes get nervous standing on a thick rug!!
