cool! i have a chance to go there in may with a few buddies... still deciding.

great video!! Considering that quite a few years ago, much younger, I got slightly altitude sick traveling to the Jungfraujoch Railway station (highest in Europe) in Switzerland., I cannot comprehend base camp at 17500 feet!! Amazing that folks are just walking around there like they were at sea level.

Having lived at sea level my whole life, I can recall getting a bit "buzzy" for the first couple of days during a trip to Denver a few years back...

I cannot even imagine the situation I'd be in at the altitudes you encounter on an Everest trek!!!! 

I have never been comfortable in "high" places...In fact I sometimes get nervous standing on a thick rug!!
