Cats
I bought a new gator strap for my PAM watches but it is a bit too shiny IMO. Does anyone know how I can threat the leather in order to get semi-mat finish on the strap ?? txcollector
There are two types of gator straps for pam: one that's very glossy and the other that has a more subdue surface (not really matte but not glossy either). I'm not sure you can go from one to the other. The glossy gator is out of production and actually hard to find. The best bet would be to sell it and get the right one. PS: I have both and they have their uses I think the glossy one goes great with the likes of 29. It dresses up the watch. and the "matte" one on my manual wind
japanic
I'm sure after time the gloss should fade, but you could try mink oil, that takes gives shoes a bit of a matte finish and helps preserve the leather. Just my two cents.
Cats
Thanks for all the advise. Indeed I think the gloss will fade away for the biggest part after wearing the strap. Carpe Diem Cats Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
