There is engraving in the back that says liquid metal but i think this should only be on the titanium version, for me it was no big deal as looks good but if you really want as close to gen as poss then you will have to wait. Also on the movement there is engraved Adjuste dto Fiye (adjusted to five) but you cant see it , well i cant anyway lol . I dont know if the V2 has this or not. I was not dissapointed with mine but i can live with little differences . Good luck with whatever you choose mate

Actually the Liquid Metal was a special edition in 42mm only.

The titanium is....titanium. No need for LM on the case back.

I could be wrong, but that's what I think I've read here, and also what a friend who works in an AD and is a specialist in Omegas told me!

You are right. "The Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal watch is available exclusively in the 42mm case size.

The regular Planet Ocean’s are available in both 42mm and 45.5mm." - from the article:

http://blog.perpetuelle.com/watches/omega-liquidmetal-planet-ocean-review/

Talk go for it! It's an awesome watch especially for a first rep! Never go quartz in a rep unless the gen is quartz. Automatic is always best if its a quality movement. I always go for true Swiss eta if option is available. Welcome to the addiction! Enjoy to the max!

So I got my watch from Andrew and it's awesome. The pearl was off like some of you said and it really bothered me. I was gonig to send it back but he offered to send me a replacement bezel insert with a better pearl free of charge. No wonder he has such a good reputation around these parts. Anyway, this is my first Omega and one of the big selling points for me is that it is brushed steel. I have never owned a replica with an ETA movement and this seems to keep much better time than my A7750's in a few other reps that I have hanging out.

I have attached a pic so you guys can see. This watch isn't really heavy like some of the more meaty Panerai reps. Also, the AR is beautiful on this watch and I think that the AR, more than anything, makes this watch appear genuine. I have attached a pic of the beautiful AR.
