cls
Can't we get with a dealer with something like this that can be sent to a manufacturer?
thedoctor
That would be too easy.

cskent69
I think that is what is needed. If you have this as a font (which must be non-standard due to the A's) and can give that to the manufacturers - then they could fix the dials. I bet they are using something like Arial or Hevetica or something similar. What font is it? It is one you can purchase or did you modify one? Each line has different kerning and height and width, here is the exact logo which was laid over a scan of a 111 face.
rmcsherry
I've never understood how they can make complex CAD files to CNC a 1:1 case, yet can't get simple things correct like the font - all they've got to do is play with existing fonts, or spend 5 minutes tracing a high-def picture. The 201A is in huge demand, and they still can't rep it accurately - yet the original blueprints exist on the net. Surely this makes their work easier?! Ok - the request goes out - please someone fix the font on the following dials: PAM 063 PAM 253 Pretty please? You will have many engrained and new buyers who will come out of the woodwork

cskent69
Yeah - some are starting to get close. The closest dial I have seen lately is actually the PAM 88 and 89. The "A" is pretty close. It has problems with the GMT hand and the L SWISS MADE L - but otherwise - it is pretty close.
