Omega 42mm 5version new stock?

Mary and Andrew(trusty dealers) say to me that new stock omega 42mm asia eta 5 ver from factory,has no problem with crown and tube..

any news?its true?

I received mine from Josh yesterday. The crown feels very solid and not at all flimsy like other earlier version reviews. So far I am extremely happy. If anything changes I will post back to this thread.

I am also looking at the 5th Version non ceramic POs. They are very well priced with the 4813 version. What is the general opinion on their quality, accurateness etc.. 

 

The Ceramic are too expensive and will wait for the Asian ETA versions, if they ever do, to arrive.

I do not have an omega with a DG4813 but have another watch with one and I have worn the watch quite a bit and it has done just fine.

It keeps time within a few seconds a day and there is no sweep second hand stutter like on DG2813, NN etc. It is showing 1:35:00 and the correct time is 1:35:27 four days afte setting it to within a couple seconds...not bad at all.

The reserve seems to be Ok as it has not run down overnight but I have been fairly active.

The one complaint I've heard about the V5 with 4813 is the hands sit VERRRY close to the dial, unlike the ETA/clone models. Is this still true?
