How to Recognize a Gen Tropic 19 Crystal?

Dear all,
I've bought a used crystal, sold to me as gen rolex tropic 19.
Someone know how to spot if is a fake?

I'm far from an expert on these but from what I've seen the aftermarket crystals still give quite a bit of dial distortion whereas the Gen crystals do not give any at all     hope this helps a bit !

Oh it was a used part so probably it was dismantled from a watch. So no package

Hard to tell.

I have a used Tropic 127 of which I'm not 100% sure that it's gen.

The packaging isn't the clue when you are talking about a used tropic.

What I know is that the clarity of a gen tropic is better as the replica crystals.

you. watchmaker will know. gen tropics always fit like gloves. aftermarket one require some modifications here or there
