Nice comparison, thanks! Which AD you bought this from as $810 is quite a lot.

 

For your info, AP changed the stitching colour on the straps. The ones that came with the watch are less aqua.

Yeah, I'm aware of... Exactly, the "less aqua" is the perception of the actual blue+white mixed stitching.

Wow, I've got four AP Bands straps, and they have looked great. The one you posted is the worst stitching job I've ever seen! I'd send that SoB back.

Great comparison. What amazes me on the gen straps is the consistency of the number, size and placement of the horns. I have several and they all are almost identical on that front. Unfortunately the gens are also the quickest to to self destruct around the end link area when taking off or putting on a strap.
