  1. I went for the OEM strap. The innacuracies didn't bother me more than the usual ones... remember it's all about the way you carry yourself. The watch is a true beauty, enjoy it!
  2. Just to clarify this is a GEN Grand Prix, sorry for the confusion and thx to all of those who sent PM's asking me to source a dial, a rotor, a movement,... or even offered me a "better" case.
  3. Bad news is the watch arrived dead ( Puretime AP Diver FC V3 ) Good news is the watch looks better than expected ( BTW the DW/Font still suck... ) I never received a watch DOA before... What do you guys usually do? Return to Angus or just fix it? Look at pix to see how the case fare against my Gen AP BB:
  4. Thx mate! In Miami a couple of days ago... Never used, fairly priced, I couldn't pass it... so I traded my wife's watch on the spot + $
  5. Since I couldn't wait any longer from Zorro to get his dial right ... this is the end result:
  6. This easily became the favorite AP I've ever owned ( including GENs & REPs ) Pics don't make justice... Here's the breakdown: AP ROO Chronopassion Ultimate V5 GEN White Rubber Strap Mike No holes Bead Clasp VAC ( AR Crystal, AR Cyclops, Lume, Service )
  7. Here's my two cents if I may... I've been dealing with Mike for a while now and in my case he always delivered a flawless experience. The guy has the proper skill set, good craftsmanship and above all a great value. Whether it works for you or not depends on exactly how hypocritical you're being. ( Personally I don't take him for granted simply because I'm aware of the fact that the 90% off the stuff I threw his way was pure Chinese junk ). Cheers,
  8. Cheers mate. Well... aren't we all have two wrists?
  9. Spent the day sitting this "puppy", such a tease! What a man can do while still waiting for Angus to get his FC parts back from the manufacturer... Yeah, another delay... He should have back in two weeks...
  10. Thx mate! Well, if you can source for less please let me know that I'll take two for my other MH that are at VAC's shop now. Yeah, I'm aware of... Exactly, the "less aqua" is the perception of the actual blue+white mixed stitching.
  11. Here's a side by side pic comparison: .Genuine strap sourced from an AD .AP Bands custom Particolare Capolavoro Dark Brown Hornback with Turquoise stitching. .Rep out of the box from TORO
  12. Not a good sign I guess.... a couple of things going on... First, the date is changing at 7 o'clock !?!?! Secondly it seems I can't set the GMT hand properly. Should I send it back to Toro?
  13. Please guys c'amon, both of mine AP MH came from TORO. My "by shawnb" post was an inside joke in response to his surreal listing in Watches for Sale. Until we're proved wrong shawnb offer is a product of fiction...
  14. Yes from Toro. The blue has muted tone in comparison to the V1, it looks good though.
  15. Toro most certainly is the finest dealer around nowadays IMHO...
  16. Here's the breakdown :-) GEN Rolex Box, Submariner Papers & Goodies. GEN Insert/Lumi Pearl GEN Crown GEN Tube GEN Crystal GEN 93250 Clasp ( very hard to find ) GEN 93150 Divers Extension GEN Click Spring ( hard to find... turns and clicks perfectly ) TC V3 Bracelet ( gen like SEL fitting / only installed the links ) BK WM9 v3 ( serviced Swiss 2836 ETA inside ) BTW I have a GEN 16610LV Bezel insert up for grabs. I bought last year from a rolex dealer ( Martin Oddershede ) in Denmark.
  17. Yeah, it's a whole different ball game now!!! AP Bands Particolare Capolavoro Chocolate Hornback Crocodile - Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Stitching color: Rose Gold

  19. I think the same, it looks like a friggin' Astrodome! But my watchsmith said it's ok... he like the cracks, the distressed plexi, etc... Anyhow I ordered a Service Dome, let's see how it fits...
