Snowflake after market handset option.

Hi guys,

I am almost finish gathering parts for the build, but last bump in a road: handset. I know Yuki is ok but is there a better option? Here is what I found so far:

CWP: http://www.classicwatchparts.com/catpart/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=39

Tiger: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SNOW-FLAKE-watch-hand-for-ETA-Tudor-Submariner-Sub-/190686696271?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c65d0134f#ht_5125wt_917

WSO: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SNOW-FLAKE-WATCH-HAND-FOR-TUDOR-2824-2-SIL7B-CREAMY-LUMINOUS-/310581346320?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4850174010

Is there any other option? And out of this one's which is better? I know CWP is good, but does they really that good at $65?

Thank you all.

Crappy hands are a big tell with snowflakes. I would get a good high res photo of gen

hands and compare all of the aftermarket ones andpick the best. gens will fit ETA movements, but they are really expensive. Iwould bet that Classic Watch Parts has the best.

I've posted here several times about the specific lengths of the hands and how they should "fit" with the dial indices. Make sure those dimensions are correct, then avoid the "long nose" look of the Yuki hour hand and make sure the minutes hand is not overly long (like Yuki) and nice and narrow, again unlike Yuki.

That's what I was talking about, unless you have a good photo of a set of gen hands you will have a harder time seeing the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) differences in the hands. Most of the replica Tudor Snowflake hand sets are pretty bad. The y make the minute hand too "Fat" and too long, and the nose on the hour hand is off, sometimes the "Snowflake" is more elliptical on the rep hands.

I'll post some clear photos of a gen 9411/0 with a set of gen tritium hands.

Thank you guys for the info. I was trying toly find Nanug post thats he mention, but no luck. I guess the verdict is CWP handset then.

I'll post some high res photos this afternoon when I get home. Will give you a good basis of comparison.

Here's the thread where we talked about it.  You can also ask Nick1972, he builds amazing Tudors and knows the source for the best aftermarket hands.
