PeteM
I reckon you should find that balcony and do the twirl wristy to camera mate... Then get to the old palace and do a run down the steps towards an unsuspecting driver sat in a parked car...

Nanuq
I had breakfast with ma brutha Lani this morning and we talked about the waves, he said here they measure the back side of the waves, not the front. So a "25 foot" wave will have a face of 50' or more. That's what I was watching, behemoth monsters crashing into the rocks, and humpback whales breaching offshore a mile or so. It was awe inspiring.

Nanuq
My pleasure! I was going to write it in suntan lotion on the belly of a gorgeous young thing tanning on Waikiki beach, but her boyfriend was giving me stinkeye. You get Banzai Pipeline instead! hambone
Nanuq, I was raised in Hawaii. My first gallery was across from the Illikai Hotel. I pretty much spent my teens and twenties in Waikiki. Kept a surfboard at the Moana and would hit the waves at sunset. Great memories. I found my wife there, and picked up so many chicks I Lost count. Enjoy your stay. Last time in the islands I stayed at the Hawaii Prince. Nanuq
Aloha Mai, Hambone. We are home now, and counting the days until we go back. I have an opportunity to move there this fall as a job swap. This is a very very hard decision!
