Legend Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I am just sharing a few pics of my gen 3717, which just came back from servicing and polishing. I am toying with the idea of selling her, but want to get a few opinions (or offers) from the respected members here. My taste shifted to larger caliber watches and fancier dials, and I have not been wearing her well.
Legend Posted April 9, 2013 Author Report Posted April 9, 2013 Price? Full papers etc? its a gen, so of course it comes with box and papers. I am not firm about selling it, and I am out of touch with the market price for this model of course. Currently I am just considering selling it and open to offers. I would post it up for sales once a decision is made. Thank you
Lobster Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I sold my gen ages ago. I regret it so much. I know we can get tired of watches etc, but this to me is an endless classic.
cougar1 Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 The price on these in the 2nd market seems to be pushing up, and also other older models will probably continue to push up judging by IWCs huge price increase in the latest models. A year ago you could get them 2nd hand in the UK for around £2K ish, now the are hard to find below £2.6K/£2.8K ish

Legend Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Posted April 10, 2013 Everything is cheaper in the USA thanks cougar for the advice regarding the prices. I think $3500 is a fair price, and I may consider selling it for just that.. hmmI sold my gen ages ago. I regret it so much. I know we can get tired of watches etc, but this to me is an endless classic. yes i have sold watches I regretted, but I hardly wear this at all.. all it does is go round and round in the winder looking forlorn.
gtanak Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 If u dun wear it much, dun put in the winder...
