Am I a scammer?

Recommended Posts

Seems to be a common trend now. Specially with some people buying the watch to see if they like it, or are transitioning to something with a screw-down crown, Etc...

It's a tough decision, specially if you definitely know the unit was fully operational and working when it left your hands.

Yes, as above, tell him go jump... 4 months, he's havin a laugh, 4 weeks is too long also, 4 days is even pushing it. This sort of sense of entitlement seems to be happening a lot lately on the forums. Ridiculous, ...name and shame. The whole paypal dispute/Visa chargeback/tell my mommy lark has gone a bit far in the past year.

Not a scammer, definitively :)

When you buy a second hand watch for USD 100, and it took 4 months to break, you are a very lucky guy! So tell him to f*** off.

The usual warranty is that you only give the money back if it is DOA (Dead on arrival)...

Do not worry about the buyer reporting anything, nobody takes seriously a complain after 4 months.

Good luck with this :D!

best of luck, I basically stopped selling even on ebay due to these type of people. hundreds of transactions, years of great experiences, then the world changes and the systems are heavily skewed to the buyer as they assume as long as the buyer returns the product everyone is fine. well, not if your Iphone is worth 1/2 of what it was when you sold it, or your watch was working and the buyer either assumed the risk, or broke it from bad care themselves.

Its unfortunate.

Nope, not even close. Anyone who threatens to expose a person in this hobby

as a blackmail tactic, especially after you have been more than reasonable

deserves a solid punch in the face.
