Moffey Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Hi all, had a note from Andrew @ Trusty today confirming that his stock of 45's no longer has the Liquid Metal flaw and that they have been updated with double AR. This watch is now topping my upgrade list!!! 1
SSTEEL Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Will be my next rep for sure, thanks for confirmation on the LM, I was unsure.
indywatchguy Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Now Gents which color do we choose hmmmm Classic Blue, Black, Black w/pumpkin numbers or Eccentric Pumpkin....decisions decisions
Rolexman Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Wonder if they also improved the crown on the 42.
tommymonk Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 Does anyone know if it's just Andrew with this version so far, or do Angus, Tony and Joshua have it in the pipeline ?
ninjagaiden Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 Liquid metal logo on the caseback. Hardly a biggy!
Rolexman Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 Liquid metal logo on the caseback. Hardly a biggy! Now corrected with all new orders. Check with your dealer.
indywatchguy Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 What's the Liquid Metal flaw? Not really a flaw per se just says liquid metal on the case back but only the blue model should have this. I have one and I think it looks pretty cool. The average joe on the street wouldn't know the difference.

perry563 Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 I have the blue version on its way from Trusty. However......there have been 3-4 who have stated that the bezel numbers were fading after only a short time period. If I had known this I would have never ordered the watch. If this is even the remotest of possibilities why would anyone buy the watch? Once faded the watch cant be worn. Why is this not being made more of an issue with the dealers?
italiano17771 Posted April 21, 2013 Report Posted April 21, 2013 I have the black ceramic... No issues...at certain angles the triangle top looks slightly faded but you have to look for it. That's the way it came and I haven't had any changes to any of the other numbers. I'm planning on getting the blue I think as well.
