MJP
I saw the tutorial on sizing them up, does anyone know if mine are smaller than gen? (They pop out sometimes). I wanted to size them up if so. Does anyone sell replacement cases maybe? Also are they supposed to go all the way through on a gen vintage? I saw a newer case for sale where they didnt go all the way through the case. Thanx dudes
ubiquitous
The lug holes have to be drilled to accept the 1.2mm ends of genuine springbars... (bars installed on an MBW 1680).

thewightstuff
1.2mm some use 1.3mm also to give more clearance

Heywood
What size drill so you use? I've used 1.25 in the past, but will probably use 1.3 in the future for an easier fit. By the way, you will want to use cobalt drill bits.
MJP
The right size... TT Wife has always told me that Toddy's & Keyboards don't mix! Ha Ha. I know it looks like a really stupid question after ubiquitous's post, but I knew there was more to it. Smartypants
ubiquitous
Indeed... 1.3mm will provide enough clearance for the bars to slide through without resistance
cskent69
What size drill so you use? Try Snap on Cobalt Drill bits, wire guage, number 55, I think. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P6...amp;dir=catalog
