I have a special love for Rolex and my current collection consists of a Daytona 116523 (Gold/Steel) with black diamond dial and a Datejust 16220 Blue Dial I haven't been active in any forum so this is my first and some questions follow that I'd love to be answered! They mostly consider the lingual discourse of this particular community (If there is a thread for this purpose then that would be ideal!) Of course I do understand shortenings such as: Mod. But what is the differences between Franken and Gen for example? And as I joined this forum to fully broaden my knowledge of vintage watches and restoration, could someone just explain the existence of China movement (such as DG3804B) within resoration and such, are they meant to be some sort of a complitary movement or what? oO, Sorry if I appear to be the noob of the noobs, but be patient with me!
