1680
Hello, this Saturday my Datejust unfortunately stopped. I checked the movement and found out that the jewel next to the ballance staff is lost... It is a ETA2836, in my ETA documents I didn't find a seperate ballance staff just the complete ballance, however on cousinsuk site I find a piece named ballance roller. Is that the spare part I need? Or what would be the easiest fix? Thanks!

FxrAndy
As far as I know you can't just buy that jewel but I may have a spare balance
krpster
For the work involved in replacing just the jewel it is probably more cost effective to just replace the balance assembly. But I suppose if you have the time on your hands and the skill to do it might be fun to give it a go.
1680
The spare part #730 is about £5, the complete balance is £40. So I think replacing just the single part is well worth it, I'd better invest the £35 left in a nice dinner...
