Nope...black but shiny...just like the should  :)

Well if the indicies are black then you need a gen crystal or AR'd to make them stand out cause I couldn't tell from these pics.

They're not black, they're gunmetal grey. This was always wrong on this generation of noob Explorer II.

This seems to be pretty well done when it's only the CGs and the crystal that needs some love...;)

I already ordered a TC 25-295-C which hopefully fit to the case just like it is :)

What's wrong with the crystal? It looks fine. The CGs need work and you need a new dial. I've dropped gen dials into these cases a few times (have another one in the parts box waiting for the right donor case, in fact).

Soo...had been to Domis spa with my 16570 :)

He did...

removed the rehaut engraving

trimmed the CGs

lightly overhauled the movment

waterproofed up to 100m

Funny thing at this point...I bought it as 21j from the seller and it came out that there is a Swiss Eta inside...but (there is always a but ;) )...it's stamped 2836-2 but is running at 21600 bph. If one is looking with a loupe you can see that it is a 2800. A pretty old movement used in the 60s...running strong but slow :D

Maybe I'm going to use this for my upcoming 1675 which will be powered by a DG3804b (if the movement is coming one day... ;) ) just to make her more reliable :).

For now I put the 16570 an a nice white nato and going to wear it through the summer since the 16570 white dial is a pretty nice summer watch :)
