Sorry for the dupe guys, Hike, a car boot sale is where you fill up the boot (trunk) of your car with your old junk and go to a pre arrange place to sell it off.

Guys, I believe that the "Car boot sale" is a bunch of hokum, right up there with Liz Taylor had an alien baby and Adolph Hitler is alive and well in Hoboken NJ!!! Here is a link to a thread on WUS that was posted last week with some good photos of the "Geiger  Counter" watch. I read the entire thread, and there was never any mention of a sale like that. It was in fact gotten from Pinewood Studios, where it had probably languished for many years in the prop department. The guy who posted this thread has been a long time WUS member and  I would think pretty reliable.

When i was vacationing in UK, We visited around 3 car boot lots and got a lot of bargains more for my 10 year old for a few bucks
