1016 case question (DateJust)

I have a gen 16013 Rolex case. I bought it without case back in the understanding a rep case back would fit......... but it doesn't.

 

Can any one put me in a direction for a rep case back that will fit?

Sorry, but I don't believe there is a rep one that fits. But there is a gen one on the bay.

 

However, I wouldn't use a 16000 case for a 1016.

On my old 1016, I used a 1600 case:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Had the lugs drilled out and added a jmb bezel.

Imho, a 16200 or JMB case works best. They have the improved bigger caseback and enough meat on the lugs.

 

A 1601 or 16000 case has the nicer shaped lugs, but does not have the correct  caseback design. You have to decide what works better for you.
