ceejay
Still not auto winding unfortunately, I am going to remove the rotor and clean and grease. and remove the winding bridge to have a look underneath. It go's absolutely fine with a hand wind? I am back in class tomorrow so will take it along for one of the experts to have a look, they have been quite taken back with the quality of my 'fakes' as they call them Thanks for asking guys

ceejay
Yea this is a old but very good resource. To bad about the Tag, are you in a watchmaking school? you say your taking it to class for a expert to take a look? Also i hate when ppl call them fakes, Its NOT a fake watch, it tells time doesnt it??? lol Yea MD, I am doing a Horology course. Really enjoying it, working on a Seiko 7009 auto movement at the moment. These chrono movements are a long way off but no harm in having a little look now That's exactly what I say to them if they call it a fake...It's a real watch!
