bluespower
The lug screws in my 212 keep stripping. Can anyone can recommend a source for good aftermarket screws? Appreciate any help. Thanks, BP
ubiquitous
I've had excellent luck with Don Ginsler's lug bars (and tubes)... Good stuff for little money...
Highflyingclive
Are your lugs properly tapped (threaded)? Early Panerai reps were not tapped - the lug screws were just driven home in the hope that they would cut their own threads. This was the result: When this happens, you are short of choices... you can get a watch maker to re-tap the lugs, or you can try to secure the stripped lug-screws with thread-lock. Cucumber_Jones
Get rivers spring bars - this is the best option.
bluespower
Yes. That doesn't appear to be the problem. New screws thread in nice and tight, but after changing out straps a few times, they're stripped. Are your lugs properly tapped (threaded)? fotoman
Get rivers spring bars - this is the best option. thats what i was going to suggest. If anyone runs across springbars that will work for a 40mm pam let me know. I know 22mm spring bars are common but ones that are big enough to work with pam holes aren't
