Are your lugs properly tapped (threaded)?

Early Panerai reps were not tapped - the lug screws were just driven home in the hope that they would cut their own threads.

This was the result:

When this happens, you are short of choices... you can get a watch maker to re-tap the lugs, or you can try to secure the stripped lug-screws with thread-lock.

Yes. That doesn't appear to be the problem. New screws thread in nice and tight, but after changing out straps a few times, they're stripped.

thats what i was going to suggest. If anyone runs across springbars that will work for a 40mm pam let me know. I know 22mm spring bars are common but ones that are big enough to work with pam holes aren't :)

I agree, River's spring bars are in all my PAMs. Fake screw notch makes it almost impossible to tell them apart from real screws.
