I have only one rep so far, U-boat flightdeck 50milll, thinking about getting next rep however the finishing on my ubout seems to be fading away on the adge. Is this common on reps please ? vlydog
Welcome Michael. I have never had a problem with substandard finishing on any of my reps. Is your does your U-boat have a black coating?

B3nj4min3
I've not had any issues with mine either. Can you post a picture of the finishing that's fading away. If the finish is simply brushed Stainless Steel all I can think of is either it's been scuffed or oxidised (however oxidation of SS under normal conditions doesn't make sense unless it had been exposed to a high moisture environment under high pressure/heat. I believe steel can oxidise under the extreme pressures in deep dive scenarios (however I have no experience with this at all) and I doubt you used the U-Boat for deep diving. It does seem, as Mike said, that you simply got a bad one.
