sneed12 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 3 dial lock...? There are two dial foot clamps, and two movement clamp screws. I don't think there are three of anything...
Erict719 Posted July 8, 2013 Author Report Posted July 8, 2013 Foot clamp then lol. any pics to help my friend?
freddy333 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 On most of the common ETAs, there are 2 dial locks, each on opposite sides of the plate. The dial foot fits through the plate & you swing the lock around to clamp against the side of the foot, which holds the dial in place
Erict719 Posted July 8, 2013 Author Report Posted July 8, 2013 Thanks man!!! also do I push the release button when re install stem
freddy333 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 If you know what you are doing, it is best to press/unscrew the release when inserting the stem. However, if the leading edge is beveled, you can usually just push the stem into place (on ETAs, it is very easy to deform or dislodge the keyless works when depressing the stem release)
