xlr8tn
Assembling my 7750 and had a question about the tilting pinion. Which side faces down, the thicker or thinner end?
Rolexman
Thicker
xlr8tn
Thank rolexman. Now let me go see if that is how I installed it. One other question...does the screw on the operating lever for the chrono go in tight or loose? Seems like tight would not allow the lever to move. xlr8tn
the part number is cs. 55.
Rolexman
Tight. If you use the original screw it will not be able to 'squeeze' the lever.
imajedi
Rolexman is correct about the pinion direction. Had this problem and FxrAndy gave me advice, which I later confirmed, here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/146969-fix-or-replace-busted-chrono-ebel-1911/page-
