azgjav Posted November 29, 2006 Report Share Posted November 29, 2006 ~enjoy.. 1680 white sub: white sub originally from WM. i reshaped the inner CGs and replaced the riveted bracelet with a heavy oyster bracelet. bezel pearl was knocked out and replaced w an improvised one made from a marker from a submariner dial. gave it a lil wabi to make it look worn.. drsd: drsd from MBW/george. inner CGs reshaped, bezel pearl replaced, case and bracelet cleaned to make it look like a NOS 1665.. 16613: the 16613 was bought preowned from a taiwanese in 2004. he has been wearing the watch since 2001. it has a supposed tritium dial, thick bezel, deep ~rehaut, 2.5X mag, thick sapphire xtal, solid end links, 14k wrapped midlinks, eta 2824 movement, thin CGs..and the bezel is constructed like the gen, with a rubber gasket in place of the usual metal wire thinggy..watch has been refinished by my watchsmith..what do you guys think of it? old mbw? canal street rep? franken watch? From a Taiwanese gentleman, I would think it's the TW sub case and it's very well detailed for an earlier 16613- Swiss T<25 on the bottom of the dial, open 6 in 26, and of course the great rehaut, and excellent crown guards.
