white sub originally from WM. i reshaped the inner CGs and replaced the riveted bracelet with a heavy oyster bracelet. bezel pearl was knocked out and replaced w an improvised one made from a marker from a submariner dial. gave it a lil wabi to make it look worn..

the 16613 was bought preowned from a taiwanese in 2004. he has been wearing the watch since 2001. it has a supposed tritium dial, thick bezel, deep ~rehaut, 2.5X mag, thick sapphire xtal, solid end links, 14k wrapped midlinks, eta 2824 movement, thin CGs..and the bezel is constructed like the gen, with a rubber gasket in place of the usual metal wire thinggy..watch has been refinished by my watchsmith..what do you guys think of it? old mbw? canal street rep? franken watch?

That certainly is a nice 16613. From a Taiwanese gentleman, I would think it's the TW sub case and it's very well detailed for an earlier 16613- Swiss T<25 on the bottom of the dial, open 6 in 26, and of course the great rehaut, and excellent crown guards. A very nice watch.

Of course, the other two are nice, also. Just not as mysterious. Three excellent watches.
