Origin of this midcase?

Recently I've acquired a midcase 16610 T (M serial number) claimed to be Sean (etaswiss) from a member.

After cleaned inside & outside of the midcase, found;

1. the crown guard is in a different shape, btw gen crown is on M case.

2. Crown (tube not screw tight yet) sitting much lower compare to my other Sean's sub case (V serial number). I am worry that the crown will touch the bezel once installed.

2. The lugs are pointy rather than flat compare to V case.

3. if you can spot others

P/s: the one with insert is from V case.

If you have a Sean's M serial number 16610 T case, please tell me this is the correct profile.

Thank for looking.

The top case the M95xx is a Sean/ETA Swiss case. The M58xx is not a Sean/ETA Swiss case. Can tell by the finish and the serial number.

Cheers!

The top case reads V 9XXXXXX definitely from Sean, because I purchased it from Sean directly.

Now, the bottom one M58XX where is this from??

Will be a easy tell if I try to install a gen movement tonight..............

I can see where the crown on the M case is set too far into the case. Looks like it will interfere with the bezel assembly when installed.

I remember this being an issue with the WM9-V3 case, but crown position was higher on that case for a 2824-2/3135 movement. But I can't tell fr pic #2 that the crowns are at a different position- like you say, just that the cgs are shaped differently. If it fits a gen movement, it could be a WM9-V3.

You're right, after google WM9 on net, it looks exactly like mine. I still prefer Sean or TC case though, is the best out of the box.
