Someday Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) First time buying a rep in about 10 years. Can't believe how things have changed! I'm picking up this cheapy 16710 and want to know what the pros here see as far as visible flaws. The Bezel is the only thing that sticks out for me but its been a while. Looking forward to tearing apart watches again! Edited September 5, 2013 by Someday
ceocorona Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Looks pretty good to me, nothing stands out as "wrong".
jtiis Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 12 lume not quite right (full) in triangular pot, rehaut regraving a smidge too far clockwise (not uncommon). Welcome back.
docthor Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Well...the rehaut is pretty wokky and a 16710 never ever had any rehaut engraving!! To visible for me I'd say
cousin_hub Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 The black insert version is different and better : no rehaut and lugholes
docthor Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Didn't mention date alignment (now on both )... But hey...if it's a cheapy it's a cheapy
cousin_hub Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 There a thread about it on rgk : http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=212065 Some have bought it and replace the black insert by a pepsi
Someday Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 Coming from a very old $50 Yachmaster rep that has I can live with these flaws lol.
