Raijor Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 I have ordered a Rolesium Yacht-Master and LV Sub from Andrew at Trusty Time and now the wait begins. This Rep watch thing is like eating potato chips. I can't eat just one. I think this could be a real problem down the road. But it is the most fun I have had buying watches in a long time. I'll post some photos when they come in and until then I would like to see other's phots of the YM and LV.
lionsandtigers Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 oh, its gonna be a real problem alright welcome to the money pit!!!!
sssurfer Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Yes, it's bad, but it can get even worse. Just stay away from large black things like <--------- this one. And welcome aboard!
fitmic Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Waiting sucks!!! Welcome by the way...
coolfire Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 It's not simply A problem... but a friggin DISEASE...!!
SuperTacks Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 Nice choices from a good dealer. Of course, these will only satisfy you for a short while and then you will more choices for your wrist. Then more. And finally......more. When is enough, enough? I don't know, haven't reached my limit.
flavor flav Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 im with sssurfer on this one....stay away stay far far away from the big shiny dive watches with the big lever on the side! bills will be (in this order too) pam payment, mortgage payment, car payment!
Raijor Posted December 1, 2006 Author Report Posted December 1, 2006 The LV Sub came and it is a beauty. You guys are right about how addictive this is. I haven't received the YM and I have started shopping again. What a blast this is but I have to limit myself to only one more this year.
buckeye Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 (edited) I really don't understand what these guys are talking about (as I look at my modded MBW DRSD whilst I type) wondering if I should change to my yachtmaster rolesium for dinner and cursing to the sky that my Cartier Pasha has not arrived yet (geeze, I ordered it yesterday).... welcome....and the yachmaster is a great choice. jeff ps: next choice should be a Panerai 111H. (that was yesterdays "watch of choice") BTW: when you say only one more for this year I assume you mean till the end of 2006. January begins a new year! Edited December 2, 2006 by buckeye
