  1. Very good that there is a place to come other than Sparta, Mattuss. You'll find there is good company here too.
  2. Any target number might be useful....maybe those of uswilling can donate again if not enough troops can be recruited to get to your goal. Let us know if your are in trouble with the donations.. Come on all. A very worthy cause.
  3. My personal history with EMS is that on its very best day it is incredibly unreliable. I have said it before and will say it again I am sure in the future...best advice I ever got about EMS tracking numbers is......When you get them, write them down or print them out. Then tuck them into your rep watch drawer ( you know you have one!) under some other stuff in the drawer. And forget about them for 2-4 weeks. Your watch arrives in the mean time, safe and sound and you've lost no sleep and your blood pressure and heart rate stayed low. No worries approach. Count on the EMS number to not work so don't even try it. Lower your stress, no worries Tacks
  4. No doubt a gorgeous strap!! And the Mont Blanc is very cool too. I will need to seek and find the future..... the unknown to me....moneybookers .....and step away from the known past future...paypal.... TTK's stuff is just too cool.
  5. Spend a lot of time reading and learning and not as much posting.... yet. But like the site and will support it when needed thanks for all you do to keep this place running.
  6. A friend of mine bought one of these Genuine white faced, white sub dialed GMT chronos and I got to try it on over the weekend. I must say it is a beautiful timepiece. If the dial color is right the rep looks very good to the gen. Reliablility? Another story to be answered.
  7. I definitely think you are going to want to spend a little, or more than a little time, at this site to research and read what the membership have to say regarding the rep trade. There are many very informative people here. You will gain valuable information and if you spend some time will be able to make a good choice for your rep.
  8. I have been concerned about this as well Enzo. I echo your sentiments.
  9. Great to see that this issue is resolved. Eddie comes through big time. Obviously paypal is going to be a thing of the past for ordering from dealers. What about the dealers accepting credit cards? Safe? That makes me nervous.
  10. This is disturbing!! the dealers seem to be under attack and a coordinated one at that. I do agree that this hobby may need to be further 'underground.' And what about the other 'mainstream' sites? Has anybody thought that maybe the word 'Replica' may need to be taken out of the forum name? This raises the profile of the forum on search engines and is very easily found at this time. Paypal is going after the dealers. Will the customers be far behind?
  11. I for one have the 42mm PO from Andrew. Great piece. It was one of my first rep purchases a number of months ago. Since getting into Pams and a Breitling I have been covetting a 45mm. So my vote now is go big...45mm.
  12. Nice choices from a good dealer. Of course, these will only satisfy you for a short while and then you will more choices for your wrist. Then more. And finally......more. When is enough, enough? I don't know, haven't reached my limit.
  13. Great to see the even those Gen watch folks can see the fun and the value in the replica world. I am fairly new to the replica world and am hooked deep in (my bank account can attest to that). Now that I am hookied on rep watches I feel much more inclined to get a Gen watch. Just can't stop buying the great rep watches to save enough cash for a gen right now.
  14. WOW Great post TTK. Obviously more to this rep selling business than I thought. Nice to the pics of the 'behind the scenes' operation.
  15. Excellent post. I have been a replaholic for only the past 3-4 months but have learned much from the members of these forums. Your work and efforts are very much appreciated by me. I have seen that me, me, me, now , now, now, 'why isn't this thing perfect mentality permeating the boards. I am not young, but I am fairly new to reps and still feel that these type of people are the downfall of my new hobby. Thanks for all the work Admin. Time to become a supporter.
  16. I am putting my vote in for horrendous. Just too much going on there for me. I do understand that there are those that like these styles and there is a market for them. Just not me.
  17. WOW....those CG's are HUGE. Maybe suggest some mods to the seller first. :
  18. Agree doesn't look gen to me. Crown too big. Date mag looks off. Could use some side views to see bezel thickness.
  19. The bank account is already suffering from getting into this rep business and now this!! Another beauty. Have been eyeing the 183 but maybe need to go this way. Good to see Josh and Andrew working together.
  20. That is a fantastic post. Now will need to pry off some casebacks and begin the hands on portion of this tutorial. Try to see some of this movement myself. Thanks Bignasty.
  21. Wow! What a story. Had seen that Trusty's paypal was down but didn't know why until reading through this thread. Whole thing reads like a Lifetime television movie. Andrew is a tremendous dealer and had handled all my transactions with class. Don't like to hear all the problems that dealers are having with purchasers because then feel that this new found hobby of mine is in trouble (although that would save me money).
  22. I agree. have loved the 187 but not pulled the trigger on one yet because don't like it on the rubber strap. guess I needed to see it in leather first. thanks for the pics.
  23. Just slight panic last night when tried to get on Trusty's site. Always worried "Big Brother" is going to come in and try to mess with the fine dealers. Glad you are back up today Andrew.
  24. Good thing you found this place. I started looking at replicas and found another site...Global replicas.com or something like that. I checked around and finally found this site. I have been looking and reading and have learned much. thank goodness I didn't fall for the the scams of "Class A Swiss replica" and the like..thanks RWG!!
  25. I agree, I didn't understand the whole Panerai craze when first looking at the rep forums. In fact, sadly, I had't known what a Panerai was until I started studying reps. Now three of my first six reps are Pams. Started with 111H. Then a Titanium. Now the new 187 on order. You will get hooked
