jfreeman420
I just got back from Sin City, Las Vegas. Had a blast, played a lot of Poker, didn't even check my email for a whole week!! That's right no computer or internet of any kind. I didn't withdraw from watches by any means. I stopped at every watch store I could. Tried on watches in Caesar's, Bellagio, MGM, Venetian, Bally's, some pawn shops in downtown. I got great service wearing my rep 251 and 116523 daytona even (hehe). AD sales people are uninformed, but very nice and accommodating. I even tried on a $60,000 iced out AP RO chrono. I asked about the big sized iced offshore and the sales lady said we just sold it for around $80K. I said too bad, that's the one I wanted. I reccommend everyone should go to Las Vegas at least once. One hell of a town. Gambling, great food, beautiful women and the best shopping in the world!!! Can't wait to go back.

BilboBaggins
Nice one...sounds awesome. I'm heading off there in '07 as part of my Round the World trip...will definitely be playing poker and it would be rude not to get in the watch stores! Any must-sees you can think of? Devedander
Would have been hilarious if her manager overheard and said "No problem!! We actually have one in back, just came in, will that be cash or credit?"
Leeroy697
Man I love vegas. I have been there twice this year alone. Last month my girlfriend had to physically drag me out of Tourneau because our friends were getting sick of waiting outside for me. I think I spent an hour in that store alone!!! At every store I had the salespeople showing my girl all kinds of different watches and having her try them on. She was amazed at how quick they would let her try on a 10,000+ watch. She had a blast. I cant wait to go back next year.

jfreeman420
Did you go to Tourneau at Caesar's Palace? Of course. I'm heading off there in '07 as part of my Round the World trip...will definitely be playing poker and it would be rude not to get in the watch stores! Any must-sees you can think of? Caesar's Palace has by far the best Poker Room in all of vegas. Even better than Bellagio IMO. I played in the 2/5 NL and 5/10 NL game when it was available. Some big players there. There was no less than $25,000 at the table most of the time. Lots of drunk idiots at about midnight in the 2/5 game. Bought in for $1,000 and sat and waited did very well. Must sees are Caesar's, Bellagio, and you have to stop downtown at Binions and the Golden Nugget. Played single deck 21 at the Nugget, 2 handed $100 a hand and was treated like a high roller. The only place you will get recognition for playing anything less than $1,000/hand. Don't bother with the outlet malls they are lame. You have to stop into the Flamingo just for the nostalgia. It is what started Vegas. Also the Barbary Coast is an old Casino that has a great band in the lounge when you just want to relax a bit. Wynn is also exquisite and the Poker Room has no table limits. Not bad action. Man I love vegas. I have been there twice this year alone. I cant wait to go back next year. $10K in Vegas is like $100 anywhere else. I had more cash than that on me. Wow... what great fun. Nothing better than walking into as many AD's as you can find, and deceiving them into thinking you're a 'playa'... Bravo! No deception, I am a Playa............
