The Difference In Rep/gen Rolex Crystals

so i have noticed that the sapphire crystal on my tw's are not really close to gen ones at all. they have a less smooth edge and are angled, where as the gens seem more 90 degree's straight up, with a slight smooth edge.

take a look at the pic of the modern seadweller and you'll see what i mean. I'm sure this has been noticed before, but its beginning to annoy me. has anyone fitted a gen sapphire crystal on a tw case???

The other thing I like about the pic I posted is the SELs on the P serial (2000) sub. This means I don't have to go on some kind of unhealthy obsessive witch hunt for a non-SEL bracelet with hollow midlinks for my TW Best classic.
