netniet Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 I bought this gen 16610 dial on the bay a couple of weeks ago together with the hands. It was stated as a 16610 / 16800 dial. Now I have a question about the dial, because I want to use it for my Franken project, and I want to source the right parts to complete this build. Does this looks as a 16610LV Mark II dial?

ubiquitous Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 Sorry; what you have is a standard 16610 dial and hands. Gen LV dial and hands fitted to a 3135: Note that the LV has larger indicies (maxi) and minute hand.
danielv2000 Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 i think Ubi is right. The "S" in Submariner is the giveaway (besides the non-maxi markers) They just don't make those flat "S" anymore. 1
