alligoat Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 Great watches! If you're having trouble with the 702 tube, try tapping the hole in the case with the 3.0mm x .35 tap. I've found that running the tap in as far as you can helps. Since the 702 has no internal splines, you basically have to use a friction fit type of approach to install it. Maybe a broach or a rat tail file could be used to screw it in. Blue loc-tite on the threads also helps lock it and seal it in place.
preacher62 Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 I just long for an old-school MBW 5512-13-14 or 1680 case. If anyone has one for sale, PM me.

fitch Posted November 1, 2013 Author Report Posted November 1, 2013 it's a gen dial but not a service dial (at least not to best of my knowledge..) On 11/1/2013 at 3:04 PM, dbane883 said: Looks great. I've got one of those myself. Assuming that's a gen 5513 service dial?

Thanks for the tip although I must admit I'm reluctand to tapp a hole in the case, I might just end up using a 703 with high bevels instead.. it's just slightly thicker but I actually like it in combination with the cg's..
