South Africa

Going on holiday in a couple of weeks, but not my choice of location. What is there to do here besides the usual wine tour, table mountain, gardens thing. I much prefer south east Asia/India. Been to Zanzibar before and was very bored / very uncomfortable, especially in Stone Town. Any suggestions? Any South Afrikaans on here that can give me a good steer?
