Correct crown size for Daytonas (62XX) Series

Sounds like a noob question, but I'm slowly getting parts together for another Daytona build, Just picked up a nice phong case and a few other parts. I'm not sure about the proper crown/tube combo for Daytonas however. I'm sure whatever is correct will be something that is super rare/expensive, but I would like to know so I can be on the lookout for the correct parts. Thanks

Pump pushers 6238, 6239, 6241, 6262, 6264 have a 24-600 crown - matching 24-6000 tube

Screw-down pushers 6240, 6263, 6265 have a 24-700 (matching 24-7000 tube) pre 1972

or 24-701 until around 1975  (apparently a 24-7010 tube)

or 24-702 until around 1982  (matching 24-7020 tube)

or 24-703 from around 1983 (matching 24-7030 tube)

Ah alligoat beat me to it  :bangin:

+1 :)

Just to mention 701 crowns were quickly replaced by 702 by Rolex, because of some problems I believe. They are impossible to find cause of this (no service parts), so it's better to avoid this period, or go for a 702 instead

Thank you very, very much for the information. My project , if it ever gets off the ground is a 6262, mainly because that's the case I have. Seems like this build might be harder to do than say a 6263, as I would expect some parts are harder to come by on the 6262, like pump pushers instead of screw down? Do any of the aftermarket suppliers sell pump pushers, and the 6mm crown/tube. If I can find the correct genuine crown/tube, that's what I will use, but I need a set of pushers as well. This is a long term project for sure.

The pump pushers (Rolex pn 24-P3)on the 6262 are the same as what was on the 6239 and 6241. What distinguished the 6262/6264 was the 727 movement whereas the 6239/6241 had the V72 and the 722 or 722-1 later.

For the crown and tube, the 24-600 would be correct.
