superlative Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 I've been watching this eBay item that just ended as the seller claims it to be a Swiss 7750 but with the 30-minute register at 3 o'clock. Seems this movement would be perfect for a Daytona or Hublot project. Is this 7750 rare or fictitious?
panerai153 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Not sure if this one is fictitious, but if you look up 7750 movements, they come in several dial configurations Go to this website, everything you ever wanted to know about the Val 7750 http://www.chronomaddox.com/valjoux_7750_engine.html

The dial @3 on the 7750 could be anything from a power reserve indicator to a moon phase. How cool is that?
superlative Posted November 19, 2013 Author Report Posted November 19, 2013 Thanks for the info, Panerai153. Now I regret not bidding on that eBay movement. It would've been perfect for a Daytona 116520 build.
