What do you think of this crystal?

This is my 5513. It is a MBK with a Clark t19 crystal. The crystal profile doesn't look like any other 5513 I've seen.

I am thinking of changing out the crystal for one with a softer done, like a service crystal.

What do you think ?

I am not sure I see what the problem is?

The original xtals fitted to gen 5513s tend to vary in shape

These are 1665s, but like Freddy says, they vary in shape

 

this is a GWSD- similar to a 5513 of that era- 1977 or so

 

and another gen 1665

 

So I say find the crystal you like and go for it!

Ok, we'll thank you for the comparisons. Every gen 5513 I've seen has a different profile....the rise starts at the bezel and rises quicker than mine. But if it is believable, I'm happy...it's been proven waterproof and that is the important part!
