Hi

As I am still new to rep world, I have bought couple of watches already. Some one told me that I have to be careful with changing date and time on these watches because it might damage the movement if not done rightly, I tried to have a look but could'nt find any thing about it on forum thats why raising it here.

thanks

To be on the safe side change dates before 8pm and after 4am so the auto date change mechanism is not engaged. I always set mine around 6am :)

That just applicable to A7750 movements or everything? I can't say I've ever taken much notice with mine that have a date.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but what's likely to happen...?

On some movements it's OK.

Problem is which ones? I don't know, and I don't think the answer is a simple one, so far easier to just treat them all the same way.

The other thing to always remember to do is to never, ever, press 'Chrono Reset' when the chrono is running (on a 775x). Always stop and then reset.
