GWP123
Hello All, Today I returned home to find the TC Submariner V6 Arrived. I am pretty noob here but I am diving pretty deep into the submariner, pun intended. You all can see some pictures attached below. I will be sure to post more picture if you want to see a certain aspect. Since I am so new, I will let you all be the judge. Please critic flaws you see. I took some pictures of the TC V6 next to my BP Ceramic Sub. My initial impressions are as follows: The watch is beautiful. I think I like the old Sub model much more than the bulkier ceramic model. I also prefer the smaller hour markers. Some worries are as follows: The bezel doesn't make the same loud clicking sound, although it does click, just a duller tone. Also, the watch feels pretty light..idk if this is because I am used to the ceramic model which is more bulky. Also, and probably my biggest concern, and I would be curious to know if this is just normal for the older sub models is this: The bracelet feels very light and the clasp feels a little cheap when comparing to the BP Ceramic version. All in all, beautiful watch and I have to say TC gave awesome customer service and he sent the watch in rapid time. More details to follow. Please let me know what you, the experts think... jpz5142
Nice watch and welcome to the forums! The comparison between the 16610 and 116610 shouldn't be to make comparisons rather the contrasts. They are different in most every way except for the base movement. The bezel rotates using a different mechanism hence the different feel and sound. The weight on the 16610 is lighter due to the hollow bracelet and the stamped sheet metal clasp. The TC is pretty spot on afaik, minor tells that would take an expert to spot (like most of the guys on the forums). Both reps are gen style construction true to their gen model counterpart. Congrats and wear in good health!

AKTime
Thanks for the input jpz5142. So the light hollow band and the stamped sheet metal clasp is true to gen? Yea, hollow mid links are correct for the 16610 as well as the clasp. The newer model bracelets and clasps are entirely different design altogether. I have a few gen bracelets and the clasps on all of them are surprisingly dinky. You would be surprised.
droptopman
Thanks for showing these photos of the two. I am new trying to figure out what to order and this helped. I personally really like the bulkiness and looks of the Ceramic so the Sub C it is. I already have a 2005 Blue faced two tone Sub, so the C is definitely what I am looking for. These pics really helped me see the difference. Thanks Again. Oh and beautiful pieces.
