horologist
Hello to all, I have a eta Rolex replica of the 16613 which is the 2 tone submariner, but was devistated when the springbar broke off and the watch fell on the wooden floor. Luckily there was no damage to the crystal and is still keeping good time. I only noticed this morning that around the edges of the dial near the 9 o'clock, there was some flake of the dial that had come off and is an eye sore as the dial obviously does not appear round. It is annoying as replacing the dial would be the ideal solution. However, dials for this particular model are hard to come by, is there a way to patch it up with some kind of paint, just so that it blends in? Not expecting it to be perfect, Has anyone every been in this situation where the dial is almost impossible to get? Many thanks in advance
kernow
Posting up a photo is likely to get a response from people as they can see the damage. Good luck.
